Niekedy človek musí riskovať. Väčšinou risk nevyjde, ale toto ten prípad nie je. Rozhodli sme sa vyskúšať pre mnohých neznámu značku JACKIEKIM ktorá je dostupná prevažne na masovo známych obchodných portáloch z Ázie. A vyplatilo sa. Nadšenie z modelu TOYOTA HIGHLANDER v mierke 1/32 bolo veľké. Po vybalení modelu z krabice sa vyvalilo na nás prekvapenie ktoré nebralo konca. Model v krásnej bordovej metalickej farbe s obrovským množstvom detailov. Taktiež pohyblivé časti karosérie v tejto mierke sú u bežne dostupných a známych modeloch nepredstaviteľné. Chceme tým povedať, že naozaj tento model u nás zabodoval.
Sometimes one has to take risks. Usually the risk does not work, but this is not the case. We decided to try the JACKIEKIM brand, which is unknown to many and which is available mainly on the well-known trade portals from Asia. And it paid off. The enthusiasm for the 1/32 scale TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was great. After unpacking the model from the box, a surprise fell on us, which did not end. Model in a beautiful burgundy metallic color with a huge amount of detail. Also, moving body parts on this scale are unimaginable with commonly available and known models. We want to say that this model really scored in our redaction.
Karoséria a lakovanie. / Bodywork and painting.
Na prvý pohľad je jasné, že ide o lepšiu triedu modelov. Taktiež vyznačenie jednotlivých dielov karosérie je výborné. Ak si pozrieme kľučky na dverách je na nich vyznačený i zámok. Na prednom i zadnom nárazníku je dokonale vyobrazenie dielov z ktorých je v skutočnosti zložený celý nárazník. jediným sklamaním boli spätné zrkadlá. Výrobca ich zabudol osadiť samotným zrkadlom. Lakovanie je taktiež na vysokej úrovni. Ostré hrany i bežne skryté miesta pri lakovaní sú dostatočne prekryté. Model má pohyblivé všetky štyri dvere, vrátane zadných dvier a prednej kapoty. Dvere sa otvárajú podľa skutočného stavu. Predná hrana dvier po otvorení zachádza dovnútra. Nevysúva sa mimo vozidla ako u lacných modelov. Pod prednou kapotou sa ukrýva dobre znázornený motor s jeho súčasťami. Chceli by sme vyzdvihnúť predné svetlomety. Usporiadanie svetiel navrhnuté podľa reálnej predlohy. Po otvorení dvier svietia. At first glance, it is clear that this is a better class of models. Also, the marking of individual body parts is excellent. If we look at the handles on the door, a lock is also marked on them. The front and rear bumpers perfectly depict the parts of which the entire bumper is actually composed. the only disappointment were the rear-view mirrors. The manufacturer forgot to fit them with the mirror itself. Painting is also at a high level. Sharp edges and normally hidden areas during painting are sufficiently covered. The model has all four movable doors, including the rear door and front hood. The door opens according to the actual condition. The front edge of the door, when opened, goes inwards. It does not slide out of the vehicle as with cheap models. Under the front hood is a well-illustrated engine with its components. We would like to highlight the headlights. Arrangement of lights designed according to a real model. Lights up when the door is opened. The reason why the photos are turned off will be mentioned later in the article.
Interiér / Interior
Opäť ide o veľké prekvapenie. Množstvo znázornených detailov na palubnej doske, sedadlách a tiež i na interiérovom obložení dvier je dobré. Uvítali by sme troška viac farebne zvýraznených detailov. Ukazovatele prístrojovej dosky nie sú znázornené. Výrobca by mohol osadiť aspoň nálepku. Čo by bola naozaj dokonalé. Dvoj farebná kombinácia interiéru v tejto mierke je tiež nezvyčajné. Vtipne vyriešené je vnútorné spätné zrkadlo, ktoré je len nálepka na čelnom skle.
Again, this is a big surprise. The amount of details shown on the dashboard, seats and also on the interior trim of the doors is good. We would welcome a little more color-enhanced details. Instrument panel indicators are not shown. The manufacturer could at least fit a sticker. Which would be really perfect. The two-color combination of the interior in this scale is also unusual. The interior mirror, which is just a sticker on the windshield, is a funny solution.
Podovzok / Chassis
Niektorých z vás prekvapíme, ale model je vlastne hračka pre deti. Model má pohon PullBack a disponuje i reproduktorom s nesmierne otravnými zvukmi. To je dôvod prečo sme vybrali batérie počas fotenia. Celkový dizajn podvozku musel byť upravený nielen kvôli reproduktoru, ale i kvôli uchyteniu samotného PullBack pohonu na zadnej náprave. Tieto dve časti zabrali polovicu plochy podvozku. Zbytok podvozku teda výrobca venoval detailom ktoré by sme našli na reálnom automobile. Aspoň za to málo sme firme JACKIEKIM vďačný. Trošku sme škrípali zubami pri kolesách. Gumené obutie malo dobrý dezén. Ale polo matná farba na diskoch kolies bola príšerná. Ako tak pekný model mohol výrobca posadiť na niečo také čo pripomína viečka od plechoviek?
We will surprise some of you, but the model is actually a toy for children. The model has a PullBack drive and also has a speaker with extremely annoying sounds. That’s why we removed the batteries during the photo shoot. The overall design of the chassis had to be modified not only for the speaker, but also for mounting the PullBack drive itself on the rear axle. These two parts took up half the area of the chassis. The rest of the chassis was therefore given by the manufacturer to the details that we would find on a real car. At least we are grateful to JACKIEKIM for that little. We gritted our teeth a little by the wheels. The rubber boots had a good design. But the semi-matte color on the wheel discs was terrible. How could such a nice model be placed by the manufacturer on something resembling can lids?
Celkové hodnotenie modelu je pozitívne. Neváhajte s kúpou ak natrafíte na modely od JACKIEKIM. I keď ide o hračky, ale v cene okolo 15 EUR získate naozaj plnohodnotný zberateľský artikel. Mierka 1/32 je síce troška mimo klasickej zberateľskej mierky. Ale možno vďaka tejto veľkosti sme si model mohli užiť v takej miere akú sme sa vám snažili opísať.
The overall evaluation of the model is positive. Do not hesitate to buy if you come across models from JACKIEKIM. Even if they are toys, but at a price of around 15 EUR you will get a really full-fledged collector’s item. The 1/32 scale is a bit out of the classic collectors scale. But maybe thanks to this size we were able to enjoy the model to the extent we tried to describe to you.
