Už je to pár rokov čo nám spoločnosť CARLEX DESIGN v roku 2018 predstavila svoj koncept MONSTER X postavenom na podvozku MERCEDES. Firma z Nového Zélandu sa prevažne orientuje na zákazníkov z Austrálie, ktorí vyžadujú množstvo vymožeností, komfort a hlavne odolnosti svojich áut. Oslovili sme čínskeho výrobcu modelov CHIMEI MODEL, aby nám poskytli vzorkový model v mierke 1/32. Vyšli nám v ústrety a tak vám môžeme priniesť krátku recenziu na veľmi prepracovaný model. Bohužiaľ to výrobca neuvádza, ale model nie je vyrobený v licencii Mercedes, na kvalite to neuberá.
It has been a few years since CARLEX DESIGN presented its MONSTER X concept built on a MERCEDES chassis in 2018. The company from New Zealand mainly focuses on customers from Australia, who require a lot of conveniences, comfort and especially the durability of their cars. We contacted the Chinese model manufacturer CHIMEI MODEL to provide us with a sample model in scale 1/32. They came out to meet us, so we can bring you a short review of a very sophisticated model. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not state this, but the model is not manufactured under a Mercedes license, it does not detract from the quality.
Na prvý dojem vás model zaujme rozmerom, váhou ale predovšetkým množstvom detailov. Ten druhý pohľad je ešte lepší. Množstvo pohyblivých dielov na aute sa nedá spočítať na jednej ruke. My sme si želali zaslať model v zelenej metalickej farbe. Už na fotkách vyzeral dobre, ale mať tento model v rukách je naozaj zážitok. Laková metalická úprava je na dobrej úrovni. Žiadne defekty v laku, žiadne neprestreknuté miesta. Všetko je tak ako má byť. To isté si dovolíme tvrdiť aj o nálepkách a natlačenej grafike. Bohužiaľ, výrobok nie je vyrobený v licencii a tak namiesto označenia AMG nájdete logo GMA, alebo na pneumatikách logo BIRDCESTONE namiesto BRIDGESTONE. Troška je to funny. Čo je však správne je logo spoločnosti PICKUP DESIGN, ktorá je podpísaná pod celým konceptom auta.
At first glance, the model will fascinate you with its size, weight, but above all the amount of detail. The second look is even better. The number of moving parts on a car cannot be counted on one hand. We wanted to send the model in green metallic color. He already looked good in the photos, but having this model in your hands is really an experience. The lacquer metallic finish is at a good level. No defects in the paint, no punctures. Everything is as it should be. We dare to say the same about stickers and printed graphics. Unfortunately, the product is not manufactured under license, so you will find the GMA logo instead of the AMG mark, or the BIRDCESTONE logo instead of BRIDGESTONE on the tires. It’s a little funny. What is right, however, is the logo of the PICKUP DESIGN company, which is signed under the entire concept of the car.
Poďme sa pozrieť na detaily. Pod prednou pohyblivou kapotou sa nachádza replika motoru AMG. Dominantná predná maska auta na sebe nesie množstvo vkladaných dielov. Línie vozidla sú zachované a presne kopírujú reálne auto. Za povšimnutie stojí elektrický navijak. Maska chladiča je top. Presná a výrazná. Strecha modelu je osadená skupinovým LED svetlom v aerodynamickom púzdre. Pohyblivé dvere kabíny sa otvárajú všetky a sú osadené z vnútornej strany i interiérovým obložením. Ich otváranie zodpovedá reálnemu stavu na bežnom aute. Predná hrana dverí pri úplnom otvorení zachádza pod predný blatník. Troška nás zamrzelo, že spätné zrkadlá nemajú zrkadlovú výplň. Korba vozidla je jedným výrazných prvkov ktoré charakterizujú celé auto. Vysunuté blatníky nad dvojnápravovou konštrukciou tento fakt znásobujú. Zadné čelo je pohyblivé a presne zapadne do celej koncepcie modelu. Žltá farba v kombinácii s logom X MONSTER na korbe nám veľmi zlepšovala celkový dojem. Jednoducho kombinácia dobrých farieb a kvalitného prevedenia z tohto modelu robia zaujímavý artikel pre vaše zbierky.
Let’s look at the details. Under the front movable hood is a replica of the AMG engine. The dominant front grille of the car carries a number of inserted parts. The vehicle lines are preserved and exactly copy the real car. An electric winch is worth noting. The radiator grille is top. Accurate and expressive. The roof of the model is equipped with a group LED light in an aerodynamic housing. The movable cabin doors open all and are fitted from the inside with interior trim. Their opening corresponds to the real situation on a normal car. The front edge of the door, when fully opened, fits under the front fender. We were a little frozen that the rear-view mirrors do not have a mirror filling. The body of the vehicle is one of the distinctive elements that characterize the whole car. The extended fenders above the two-axle structure multiply this fact. The rear face is movable and fits exactly into the whole concept of the model. The yellow color in combination with the X MONSTER logo on the body greatly improved our overall impression. Simply combining good colors and quality workmanship make this model an interesting item for your collections.
Interiér vozidla je pekný s množstvom dobre navrhnutých častí. Od palubnej dosky, cez volant až po sedadlá je všetko navrhnuté v duchu MERCEDES. Niet čo vytknúť až na pár detailov ktoré by mohol výrobca doladiť. Jedným z týchto vecí je absencia farebne zvýraznených prvkov interiéru. Pôsobí troška fádne až nudne, chcelo by to oživiť.
The interior of the vehicle is nice with many well-designed parts. From the dashboard, through the steering wheel to the seats, everything is designed in the spirit of MERCEDES. There is nothing to complain about a few details that the manufacturer could fine-tune. One of these things is the absence of color-enhanced interior elements. It looks a bit dull to boring, it would like to revive it.
Podvozok modelu od CHIMEI MODEL je osadený šiestimi gumenými pneumatikami. Pôsobia agresívne ale spracovanie vrátane dezénu pneumatík je dokonalé. Horšie je už na tom samotný podvozok. Nakoľko sa jedná o autíčko primárne určené pre deti je model vybavený pohonom na natiahnutie a tiež i zvukovými a svetelnými efektami. Našťastie sme model dostali bez batérií. Nič nás teda nerušilo pri hre 🙂 Ale naspäť k podvozku. Výrobca sa snažil niekoľko detailov navrhnúť no nemohol tak urobiť úplne nakoľko je tu i miesto pre reproduktor a baterky. Ale to čo dizajnéri ponúkli v rámci možnosti považujeme za dobré.
The chassis of the model from CHIMEI MODEL is fitted with six rubber tires. They look aggressive but the processing, including the tread pattern, is perfect. The chassis itself is worse. As this is a toy car primarily intended for children, the model is equipped with a drive for stretching and also with sound and light effects. Fortunately, we got the model without batteries. So nothing disturbed us during the game 🙂 But back to the chassis. The manufacturer tried to design a few details but could not do so completely as there is room for a speaker and flashlight. But what the designers have offered is as good as possible.
Veríme, že i vy si pri potulkách na internete všimnete tento model. A i keď nie ste veľkým fanúšikom Mercedesu, tento koncept budete považovať minimálne za zaujímavý. A nim naozaj je. Preto, ak váhate nad kúpou tohto modelu ktorého cena sa pohybuje okolo 17 EUR prejdite si naše fotky. My tento model hodnotíme kladne a to nielen kvôli kvalite spracovania, ale hlavne kvôli pocitom, ktoré z auta máme. Je perfektné.
