Post-war Europe was still recovering from the horrors of World War II, but it was already clear to many engineers and carmakers that the time was coming not only for work and commercial vehicles, but people would want to have fun again after all. This was also realized in the Austrian company Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH. In 1948, the company launched the first PORSCHE 356 model, which heralded a new trend for PORSCHE. From tanks to sports cars. Today we know that they succeeded in this intention.
Povojnová Európa sa ešte len spamätávala z hrôz druhej svetovej vojny, ale už mnohým konštruktérom a výrobcom automobilov bolo jasné, že prichádza doba nielen pre pracovné a úžitkové autá, ale ľudia sa budú chcieť po tom všetkom opäť zabávať. To si tiež uvedomili v Rakúskej spoločnosti Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH. V roku 1948 uviedla spoločnosť na trh prvý model PORSCHE 356 ktorý bol predzvesťou nového trendu spoločnosti PORSCHE. Development of the later PORSCHE 356 model continued from 1950 at the German plant in Zuffenhausen, where it was permanently domesticated until the arrival of its successor, the PORSCHE 911 in the autumn of 1964. In 1965, production of the 356 model line was terminated with 76,000 units produced. Model PORSCHE 356A COUPÉ was introduced in 1955. Sometimes the model was also referred to as T1. Production of the T1 and T2 models, which belonged to the designation 356A, lasted until 1959. PORSCHE used engines with a capacity of 1.3 to 1.6 liters to drive these models. The most commonly used power unit was a 4-cylinder air-cooled 1.6-liter boxer engine with 59 horsepower (44 kW). The 4-speed manual transmission was in charge of the gear ratios. The vehicle was able to exceed the limit of 170 km / h at a maximum speed.
Vývojom neskôr model PORSCHE 356 pokračoval od roku 1950 v Nemeckom závode v Zuffenhausenu, kde sa už natrvalo udomácnil až do príchodu jeho nástupcu PORSCHE 911 na jeseň 1964. V roku 1965 bola výroba modelovej rady 356 ukončená s počtom 76000 vyrobených kusov. Model PORSCHE 356A COUPÉ bol predstavený v roku 1955. Niekedy bol model označovaný aj ako T1. Výroba modelu T1 a T2, ktoré patrili pod označenie 356A prebiehala až do roku 1959. K pohonu PORSCHE pri týchto modelov používalo motory o objeme 1,3 až 1,6 litra. Najviac používanou pohonnou jednotkou bol 4-válcovy vzduchom chladený motor boxer o objeme 1,6 litra s výkonom 59 konský síl (44kW). Prevod rýchlostných stupňov mala na starosť 4-stupňová manuálna prevodovka. Vozidlo dokázalo maximálnou rýchlosťou prekročiť hranicu 170km/h.
The POSRCHE 356A COUPÉ model, which SCHUCO introduced at the beginning of 2021 in 1/87 scale, is a collector’s model with a number of interesting impressions. Even such a small model managed to arouse enthusiasm in us. We are fans of the 1/64 scale, in which SCHUCO also pleasantly surprises us with its news. But we admit that the perfect workmanship and especially the amount of suggested details on this small model was a great experience for us. By perfect processing of the lines and important elements of the body, the manufacturer has won enough. Also, the painting of the model with the green metallic color was not marked by a shortcoming. The PORSCHE logos and inscriptions caused us a bit of problems, and only because of their small size. Even under a magnifying glass, we knew how to read the text perfectly.
Model POSRCHE 356A COUPÉ ktoré spoločnosť SCHUCO uviedla začiatkom roku 2021 v mierke 1/87 je autíčko s množstvom zaujímavých dojmov. I tak malý model dokázal v nás vzbudiť nadšenie. Sme síce fanúšikmi mierky 1/64, v ktorej nás SCHUCO tiež veľmi milo prekvapuje svojimi novinkami. No priznávame, že dokonalé spracovanie a hlavne množstvo navrhnutých detailov na tom to malom modely bolo pre nás veľkým zážitkom. Dokonalým spracovaním línii a dôležitých prvkov karosérie sa výrobca dostatočne vyhral. Taktiež lakovanie modelu so zelenou metalickou farbou nebolo nikde poznačené nedostatkom. Troška nám robili problémy logá a nápisy PORSCHE a to len kvôli ich veľkosti. I pod lupou sme dokonale vedeli dobre prečítať text.
The whole skeleton of the car is made of metal and complemented by plastic details. Above all, however, we want to praise the perfect processing of graphic details, such as the chrome edging around the window frames. We were very surprised by the headlights, which are an inserted element. Also the front and rear bumper is an individual part of the model. The rear hood with perforation and grille perfectly tuned the rear of the vehicle, which was complemented by a pair of perfectly designed taillights.
Celý skelet autíčka je vyrobený z kovu a doplnený o plastové detaily. Predovšetkým však chceme pochváliť dokonalé spracovanie grafických detailov ako je napríklad chrómové lemovanie okolo rámov okien. Veľmi nás prekvapili predné svetlomety, ktoré sú vkladaným prvkom. Taktiež predný a zadný nárazník je individuálny diel modelu. Zadná kapota s perforáciou a mriežkou dokonale doladila zadnú časť vozidla, ktorú doplnila i dvojica dokonale navrhnutých koncových svetiel.
Unfortunately, the view of the interior through small windows is not very good. But even here we have noticed a high standard of the SCHUCO brand in the form of detailed interior parts. The chassis of the toy car is designed by the manufacturer in a simplified form. More or less we expected it on such a small scale, but even here there are a few important details. Finally, the design of the authentic SCHUCO wheels has been perfected. For lovers of the PORSCHE brand, this small crumb is a mandatory equipment of the collection and we believe that it will find a place in the collections of many other collectors of metal models.
Bohužiaľ pohľad do interiéru cez malé okná nie je veľmi dobrý. No i tu sme zaznamenali vysoký štandard značky SCHUCO v podobe detailne navrhnutých častí interiéru. Podvozok autíčka je navrhnutý výrobcom v zjednodušenej forme. Viac menej sme to u tak malej mierky čakali, ale i tu sa nájde pár dôležitých detailov. Nakoniec i stvárnenie autentických kolies SCHUCO dotiahlo k dokonalosti. Pre milovníkov značky PORSCHE je tento malý drobček povinnou výbavou zbierky a veríme, že si nájde miesto i v zbierkach mnohých iných zberateľov kovových modelov.
