Ďalším plusom modelu je celkový autentický dojem. Farebné doplnky ako sú červené vodorovné linky a tiež i imitácia chrómových líšt okolo okien výrobca zvládol dobre, ale nájdu sa i kritické miesta, kde sa kvalita stvárnenia nepodarila dotiahnuť na dobrú úroveň. Veľkým plusom pre nás boli dobre navrhnuté vkladané diely. Predovšetkým spomenieme predný a zadný nárazník a tiež dvojica výrazných spätných zrkadiel a stieračov na prednom delenom skle.

Due to the small scale, it is not possible to produce all small parts at an affordable price to meet the highest criteria of collectors. However, what DeAgostini has managed for the unit are the exact lines of the car and the well-emphasized elements of the body and, above all, the typical characteristic parts taken from a real car. Above all, we mean the front grille with a large oval radiator cover and also a pair of headlights.
Kovový model ŠKODA 706 RTO je dôkladne zabalený v blistre. Už na prvý pohľad nás zaujal množstvom detailov. Hovoriť však o detailoch v presnej mierke nie je možné. Vzhľadom k malej mierke nie je možné vyrobiť za prijateľnú cenu všetky drobné diely tak, aby vyhovovali najväčším kritériám zberateľov. Čo však DeAgostini zvládlo na jednotku sú presné línie vozu a dobre zvýraznené prvky karosérie a predovšetkým typické charakteristické časti prevzaté z reálneho automobilu. Predovšetkým máme na mysli prednú masku s veľkým oválnym krytom chladiča a tiež dvojicu svetlometov.

Výrobca nezabudol ani na podvozok a s pomerne slušnou skupinou detailov ponúka zberateľom pohľad na dobre znázornený podvozok ŠKODA 706 RTO. Naviac zvýraznený výfuk v striebornej farbe príjemne spestril dobrý dojem z detailov. DeAGOSTINI si dalo záležať i na dobre navrhnutých masívnych oceľových diskoch. Za povšimnutie stoja zadné dva páry pneumatík. Navrhnuté disky považujeme za dokonalé. Predné disky nám prišli troška plytké oproti predlohe.
